Manuel Martínez “Raspall” (1, Joaquín Berenguer Street)
Here was the home of Manuel Martínez Báguena, who during the years 20-30 of the XIX century worked with the rodeno stone (red sandstone). Manuel was an outstanding Valencian ball player, “raspall” modality, playing in this street, until the postwar period . The first bicycle in the town was driven by Manuel Martínez in the 1920s. With it he traveled to les Valls (a nearby area) to play ball.
